STARS is excited to announce our new Patient Affordability Intern opportunity!
The Patient Affordability Intern role consists of:
• Joining medical debt case discussions via Zoom with Dollar For*
• Developing a research project focused on medical debt
• Working with Costs of Care Director, Dr. Fumiko Chino, and Costs of Care Fellow, Dr. Nicole Mott, on evaluating various aspects of medical debt
The Patient Affordability Intern MUST be willing to dedicate 6-8 hours a month to this internship, and be interested and engaged in patient affordability/medical debt. The internship will run from July 1st, 2025 – June 30th, 2026.
This is NOT a paid position.
