In its 10th anniversary year, the STARS program looks forward to continuing to connect a national learning community with local faculty mentorship and student-led action.

STARS STUDENT AMBASSADOR COMMITMENTS
- Attend both virtual summit sessions and participate in quarterly learning collaboratives.
- Collaborate with your local faculty mentor, co-ambassadors, and prior STARS students to sustain progress.
- Share high-value care concepts with peers and contribute to a local educational, quality improvement, research, and/or advocacy effort.
STARS 2027 National Leadership Summit for Incoming STARS Ambassadors
- Friday, January 29th, 2027, 5:30 - 7:30 p.m. Eastern, via Zoom
- Saturday, January 30th, 2027, 1:00 - 5:00 p.m. Eastern, via Zoom
School Commitments
- Select up to 4 Student Ambassadors, ideally early in training; interprofessional learners are welcome.
- Identify at least 1 local faculty mentor to support student projects and sustain continuity across cohorts.
- Support students in attending the summit and participating in quarterly learning collaboratives.
School Contributions
- Monetary contributions help support the growth and delivery of the STARS program.
- Suggested tax-deductible contributions: $2,000 per school or $5,000 to be a “STARS Sponsor School” which includes recognition with the school logo on STARS materials.
