Congratulations to Shivani Jain

Congratulations to Shivani Jain, who was selected to participate in the coming year’s American Medical Association’s Leadership Development Institute (AMA LDI) cohort. The AMA LDI is dedicated to cultivating a diverse cohort of aspiring physician leaders who are committed to serving the needs of their communities and improving our nation’s health. The institute offers medical students entering their final year of school a unique opportunity to gain individualized insight into the skills needed to foster their careers as future leaders in medicine. Participants receive professional development and are paired with a mentor who is an experienced physician leader to work with throughout the program year.

Shivani is incredibly excited to have been selected and believes, “Programs like the AMA’s LDI allow medical trainees to build crucial career skills that go beyond the classroom and hospital into their community life. I am excited to hone leadership skills that will allow me to be a better physician, advocate, and high-value care changemaker in medicine.“
